Day-to-day facilities support, maintenance, and cleaning
The Building Services group ensures a safe and sustainable UBC by providing exceptional campus-wide cleaning, day-to-day support and maintenance of electrical, gas, and water, storm, potable and sewage utilities and facilities management. This group can also assist with small renovation jobs and maintains the university’s Technical Guidelines, the code of quality and performance for the design, construction and renovation of university-owned institutional buildings.

Architectural trades are responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of building systems, including building envelope and structural integrity.Construction office
Through our construction office we provide renovation and construction services using in-house trades for projects valued up to $50,000.Custodial services
