Gilberto Andrade is the successful candidate for the position of Senior Materials Resource Coordinator within Municipal Services. Reporting to Hoi Ying Yu, Gilberto’s first day will be on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Originally from Brazil, Gilberto holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and recently received his designation in Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) in 2021. Gilberto comes to UBC with over 25 years of experience and knowledge in materials and logistics management in varying industries ranging from home appliances and steelworks.
Prior to joining UBC, he was a part of a successful team that implemented a very complex ERP system, where he distinguished himself as a team leader with strong work ethics and communication skills, as well as an ability to work successfully with varying cross-functional teams.
