Last weekend the millwrights replaced a failed 60 horsepower 800+lbs supply fan motor so the electrical crew could reattach the electrical connections. The area(s) within the Pulp and Paper Centre were impacted and forced to stop their work until this unit was replaced and put back into service.
There were several challenges to overcome in the constrained space. For example, an A-frame was utilized with a sliding block and chain hoist in order to position the motor into place under the ductwork.
