Joey-Lee Rebelo is the successful applicant for the Manager, Business and Support Services position, reporting to Customer Services & Informatics in Building Operations. This is a new position responsible for leading the Clerical and Service Centre teams, as well as supporting training and other important initiatives throughout Facilities.
Joey-Lee has been with UBC since July 2019, and has supported Building Operations and the leadership team as the Office Administrator for over a year. Most recently, Joey-Lee has been working with the Safety & Risk Services (SRS) team and the Executive Director of SRS. Many of you will know Joey-Lee from her previous role in Building Operations as well as from Planon Technicians training, where she facilitated PMFS app training. Joey-Lee also led the Buddy Program sessions and supported many of the go-live preparedness activities for both Planon and Workday implementation.
Joey-Lee has a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Education and has completed the Professional Development Program (education & teaching) from Simon Fraser University. She is currently pursuing an Associate Certificate in Change Management from the Sauder School of Business at UBC.
