Our ambitious conversion of UBC’s District Energy System (DES) from steam to hot water is almost complete. If you’re too hot or too cold—before you plug in a heater or a fan—we need you to tell us if something doesn’t seem typical for your building. Then we can make any necessary adjustments while the new system’s components are likely still under warranty. The Energy & Water team and Building Operations are ready to respond.
