Municipal & Custodial Services keeping priority routes clear over the long weekend

Vancouver experienced one of its top snowiest days (8.8 cm) ever over the family day long weekend that also marked Valentine’s Day. While many were out playing in the snow or bundled up by the fire, Building Operations’ Municipal and Custodial Services crews were on UBC campus ensuring the priority routes were clear so buses, emergency vehicles and those living and visiting the campus could move around as safely as possible. The most snow ever recorded on February 13th was in 1918 when we had 9.7 cm, according to Vancouver Weather Records.
