Two new Project Coordinators join the Construction and Planning Office

Building Operations welcomes Peter Lincoln and Thomas Davis to the Construction and Planning Office.

Peter Lincoln was selected as the successful candidate to replace Paul Shaw who retired in July of this year. Peter joined Building Operations in September 2008 in the Electrical Shop, and has worked as a Projects Electrician, Zone Electrician, High-Voltage Electrician and is currently the Controls Electrician Head. Peter has over 20 years in the electrical trade industry having worked as an electrician in South Africa, England, Australia, United States, and Canada. He brings with him an extensive amount of knowledge of the electrical and construction trades.  Peter is also part of the Zone Review Team, currently working on a balanced location zone model in an effort to improve the electrical service delivery on the UBC Vancouver campus.

Thomas Davis was selected as the successful candidate to replace Robert Stone who will be relocating to the Island in September of this year. Thomas is a red seal sheet metal mechanic, with over 15 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. Since joining UBC in March 2015, Thomas has been an integral member of the Sheet Metal Unit and is currently the Sub-head of Sheet Metal.  Thomas is a passionate believer in customer service and always seeks to promote building strong respectful relationships with both his peers and clients.
